at Gessnerallee Zürich (Gessnerallee 8, 8001 Zürich)

We’re excited to be back also this year at Gessnerallee Zürich and very grateful to be able to collaborate again with their wonderful team.

volumes award 2026

The volumes award is back!
 Submit your work now to take part in the volumes award 2026.

What was published by artists and independent publishers in 2026? We’d like to highlight and support the production and producers of 2026 with three cash prizes of CHF 500 each. This award is open to all artists and independent publishers worldwide.

Find the application form here and submit your publication by 10th of October 2026.

Requirements: 
- Each publisher / artist can only submit one publication
- The submitted work has to be published between November 2025 and November 2026 (first edition, not reprint)
- Each publisher / artist needs to fill out the submission form
- Each submission needs to include a video of max. 3 min length to introduce the publication (in whatever way they would like to do this). The video must be uploaded to Youtube or Vimeo and the link must be sent to volumes by e-mail: hello@volumeszurich.ch. 
- Also send by e-mail a JPG of both the cover (flat, not the book as an object) and a double page from the publication
- A copy of the publication needs to be sent to volumes before 10th of October (we will not accept any submissions sent to us on a later date)

All of the submitted publications will be showcased online and in the award exhibition during our volumes 2026 fair (taking place on the 21st & 22nd of November 2026 at Gessnerallee Zürich) and will become part of the volumes archive after the event (no publications will be returned).
